This style of door is mainly found in 1930's houses, made out of pine softwood with strong joints making them desirable doors for period houses. It is common to find the top panel of these doors with glazing in making them popular for kitchen doors and obscured glazing for bathroom doors, allowing light to reach normally darker rooms.
